THE CHALLENGE

To increase the demand for healthier dietary choices. Good Food is Good Medicine was created with the understanding that healthy eating plays a significant role in long-term health. That’s especially true in the underserved and underrepresented communities in Chicago that we serve.

We partner with local organizations to provide classes and other activities that are in our targeted communities on the South and West sides of Chicago. Working with local community based organizations to bring more programming to residents of these communities is a focus, especially as we work to increase the demand for healthier cooking and food choices.
